Knill satisfied after Cobblers claim win at Peterborough
Assistant boss Alan Knill feels Cobblers got everything they wanted out of Tuesday’s 4-2 win at Peterborough United.
Town headed to Posh for a behind-closed-doors friendly, giving vital game time to players who needed it.
Ryan Watson scored twice in the win, with Jason Taylor and Sam Hoskins also on target.
And Knill said: “Everything we wanted to get out of the game we got.
“It was a good work out and it gave us the chance to give some players minutes on the pitch.”
