Gray: Cobblers have to follow up Hatters win with Dons victory
Town breathed life into their promotion play-off challenge with an impressive 2-1 win over fellow top seven contenders Luton Town on Saturday.
Gray’s first Cobblers goal was the 86th-minute winner against the Hatters at Sixfields, with Town having to come back from 1-0 down to claim the win that sees them four points off the play-off pace.

“When you are going for play-offs and promotion, you need to back up a second result, and I think we have enough quality to do that,” said Gray.
“This is the best squad that I have played with at club level, so I think we have enough quality in the changing rooms to go to Wimbledon confident that we can get another result.”
Neal Ardley’s Dons go into the game just three points behind the Cobblers, and the south Londoners are in the last-chance saloon as far as their own play-off hppes go.

“We still have to play a lot of teams that are up there, and that’s probably what you want,” said the Accrington loan man.
“At this time of the season it is sometimes harder to play against teams that are scrapping for their lives.
“I am confident, and the lads are really confident, that we can still make the play-offs.”
