Cobblers face MK Dons again in Johnstone’s Paint Trophy
Northampton Town will take on Milton Keynes Dons in the first round of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.
It’s the third cup tie against the Dons in less than a year. Aidy Boothroyd’s men were 1-0 winners in the same competition last season, while Town were beaten 2-1 in the Capital One Cup at Sixfields on August 6.
The tie is due to be played at stadium:mk week commencing September 2.
