Cobblers could face Peterborough in JPT first round
Northampton Town could come up against League One opposition in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy first round draw after the South Section (East) group was announced this morning.
The Cobblers are in the same group as Millwall, Peterborough United and Colchester, along with League Two rivals Cambridge United, Dagenham & Redbridge, Leyton Orient and Luton Town
Receiving byes to the next round are Crawley, Gillingham, Southend and Stevenage, while the draw will take place live on Soccer AM on Saturday, August 8.
