DANES would have conceded early on but for in-form goalie Daniel Ramsden putting in early saves.

Captain Freddie Price, Harvey Walker, Ciaran Allibone covered a lot of ground in an end-to-end exchange.

Ollie Edginton passed the ball across the box finding man of the match Harvey Walker to slot home the ball into the bottom corner. Moulton pressured hard with two quick goals before half-time. They scored one more and two unlucky own goals sealed Danes’ fate.
D Grange Blades U14s 1

Welland Valley 0

Blades started strongly and made several chances but were thankful for Jacob Ireland’s penalty save for keeping the scores level at the break.

The second-half saw Blades dominate and they scored the winner through Nathan Butler.

Man of the match was Nathan Butler.

Brixworth Juniors 4

DaventryTown Vikings 3

Brixworth scored within 15 minutes of the first-half.

The second-half kicked off and Thomas Kempster scored Daventry’s first goal within five minutes.

But Brixworth came back with three more goals. Then William B scored in the 25th minute. With minutes to go the ball never left Brixworth’s half and Thomas Fish scored the final goal.

Hackleton Harriers 6

This was an end-to-end match with both teams playing good football.

The first-half saw Hackleton dominate.

Daventry then put two goals away one for Harry Norton and the second for Shuan Bragg.

Both teams played well. Oliver Brady and Alex Osborne were great in defence and Jack Ramsden performed several athletic saves. Qskar Challice’s tremendous all-around performance earned him man of the match.

Blades continued their solid start to the season with a hard-fought win against a strong Brixworth side.

Both sides tried to play football and each had an early chance to open the scoring before goalkeeper turned striker for the day Jaime Rogers capped a fine performance scoring from close range.

Man of the match was Patryk Harmoncyzk.

Saxons opened their account early from the penalty spot and scored a second minutes before half time, Saxons adding a third. Man of the match for All Stars was Cameron Bloodworth.

Welford Victoria U10s 2

An outstanding first-half performance from the Vikings set up their first victory of the season against Welford Victoria.

Ben powered in a cross which Reagan fired into the net to make it 1-0.

A few minutes later Finn was on the end of a Reagan cross putting the score 2-0.

The lead increased further with a goal from man of the match Reagan.

Welford reduced the deficit but Reagan connected with Ben’s cross for his hat trick. In the second half good passing play from Welford resulted in a goal.

But Daniel scored the Vikings’ fifth goal from a free kick.
