United Castle Youth 0 Drayton Grange Panthers U16s 5

Panthers created many chances and scored just before the break when Josh Hyams scored from an acute angle.

Straight after the break Panthers were rewared with a penalty after good work from Louis Quinney. Logan Roberts scored the penalty and then went on to grab a secound.

Panthers added two more headed goals from Ryan Compston and Cameron Broomfield. Panthers still pressed for more goals and should have had many more but for the keeper and woodwork.

Many great performances but man of the match went to Igan who was outstanding in an excellent team performance.

Drayton Grange Blades U13s 3

Towcester 2

Blades exploded out of the blocks and continued their excellent recent form by racing into a three-goal lead before half-time, with every player working tirelessly for the team. Connor Aldridge opened the scoring with a impressive header – just rewards for a great display. Connor Keating followed up last week’s hat-trick with a long-range effort and captain Josh Hutchinson added the third capping an outstanding personal performance that won him man of the match. Towcester hit back in the second-half to score twice. Blades continued to create chances and were unlucky not to have increased their lead but saw the game out for a deserved win.

Parklands Tigers Amber 2

Colts defence were well organised with Oscar Trippett and Dominic Earle in good form, Amber took the lead through a penalty to go in 1-0 at the break. In the second-half Colts tried to get the equaliser, and were awarded a penalty. But a good save kept the score at 1-0 and a late own goal made it 2-0 to Amber.

Daventry Town U11s 6

ON Chenecks 1

Daventry started the game very well with Freddie getting their first. Chenecks could not keep Daventry at bay with Olli getting a brace and with Chenecks pulling one back to make it 3-1 at half-time. Daventry started with good pressure with Ben making it 4-1. Daventry kept going forward with a good goal from Rueben. Daventry were awarded a penalty which Jake Graham took and finished the game 6-1. Man of the match went to Olli.

Drayton Grange Blades U11s 0

The game saw a couple of missed opportunities from Thomas Tayles and good saves from Alex Kaufman. The second-half was much the same with both teams working hard for a result but with more missed chances from Shay Doherty.

Daventry Town U13s 1

ON Chenecks 9

Without their goalkeeper and no subs Daventry knew they were up against it playing fourth from top O N Chenecks. Dav had some great chances in the first-half with Farrell hitting the post and scoring one. Man of the match was Joe Hassett.

Long Buckby U10s 1

Thorplands 81 3

Thorplands took the lead after 10 minutes with a second just before half time. Finn Daniels scored in the second half thanks to a great ball from Alex Oddy who split the defence, and while Buckby exerted pressure to gain an equaliser, they could not break through. With players committed up front Thorplands scored in the last minute. Jessica York was Buckby’s player of the match with another superb defensive display

Daventry Town Saxons U9s 4

Delapre Dragons 1

Delapre Dragons went one nil up in the first-half but Ryan Griffin kept Saxons’ hopes alive with terrific saves. Daventry came alive with a quick equaliser from Lewis Alford, then Connor Walker stepped up to take a rocket penalty into the back of the net for the lead.

Sam Clements fed the ball through to Hugo to score a third. Callum and Enrico were excellent in the defence. A show of brilliant individual skill saw Hugo Caldeira get the fourth by running 20 yards, beating three people and scoring a cracker to make it 4-1 final score.

Man of the match went to Hugo Caldeira.

Daventry Town Vikings U10s 1

Delapre Dragons Yellow 2

Delapre Played good football which saw them score two good goals in the first-half. Daventry produced several good runs of football but did not take their chances. Mathew Ridgewell and Aidan played well.

Brandon Holmes scored a well-taken goal to make it 2-1 final score. Blaine Chatwin worked hard to make him man of the match.

Daventry Vikings U9s 7

Delapre Dragons 1

Great team work from the Vikings against Delapre Dragaons, led to a massive 7-1 win for the home team with goals from Thomas Kempster (2), George Holloman (3) and player of the match William Bellis (2).

Drayton Grange Blades U12s 4

Moulton Magpies 0

Blades came to life in the second-half after stubborn resistance from Moulton.

Joe Squirrell broke the deadlock with a neat finish after good football down the left.

Dylan Hanna scored a close range header from a deep cross to make it two. Jake Osborne added the next after breaking into the penalty area to fire into the corner.

Kian Daniels rounded off the goals with a stinging shot off the underside of the bar. Jake Osborne was man of the match with a fine goal in the second half.
