COACH and Horses continued their winning streak with a third consecutive win in the Wednesday Night six-a-side Football League.

They were up against William Parker in what turned out to be a one-sided game.

Coach and Horses went ahead early on thanks to a goal from Dan Clarke.

They continued to dominate possession throughout the game.

The match ended 6-0 to Coach and Horses with Dan Clarke (3), Aaron Crampton, Richard Crampton and Jeff Simmons the goal scorers.

Elsewhere after their recent run of poor results, Davcelona went up against fourth-placed Pen Island.

Five minutes into the game James Osbourne put Davcelona into the lead with a lovely strike with his left foot. But they did not hold the lead for long as Pen Island bounced back with two goals in quick succession – thanks to Lee Creswell and Luke Jones.

Going into the second-half Davcelona took advantage of a good spell of early possession. A nice passing move from Luke Ireland let Aaron Bishop through on goal to bring the teams level to 2-2.

Midway through the second-half Jake Sanderson put the game to bed with a wonderful strike for Pen Island ending the game 3-2.

This means Coach and Horses take over at the top of the league by one point.

The Dons continued their great form with a 5-0 victory over Daventry Olympic.

Dean Lange (2), Chris Brown (2) and James Talyor were all on target for The Dons. They move ever closer to the top being only two points behind Davcelona.
