Jon Fisher will start for the first time since the opening night defeat at Worcester Warriors as Saints shake things up for the trip to Exeter Chiefs on Sunday (kick-off 1pm).
Fisher is at eight for the Sandy Park showdown, with Teimana Harrison moving back to seven and in-form Tom Wood given a breather on the bench.
Ahsee Tuala also gets a rare start, lining up in the first 15 for the first time since the win against Gloucester in November.
And JJ Hanrahan is another who gets a first start for some time, having not had the 10 shirt since the win against Glagsow Warriors in January.
Stephen Myler is named among a strong set of replacements, with Victor Matfield, Kahn Fotuali’i and James Wilson also in reserve this weekend.
Alex Waller replaces Ethan Waller at loosehead, but Courtney Lawes (ankle) and Luther Burrell (quad) both remain absent.
Meanwhile, Exeter, who currently sit second in the Aviva Premiership standings, nine points ahead of fourth-placed Saints, have also made a few changes to their side.
Ollie Atkins and Dave Ewers are recalled ahead of Lewis Stevenson and Julian Salvi, while Dave Lewis is given the nod at scrum-half ahead of Will Chudley.
James Short’s inclusion on the wing means Ian Whitten reverts back to centre, alongside Henry Slade.
Sam Hill drops to the bench where he will be joined for the first time by Australian international Lachie Turner, who is poised to make his debut having arrived last month.
