Northamptonshire’s pre-season preparations continue tomorrow (Thursday) as they travel to Trent Bridge.

The County face hosts Nottinghamshire in a two-day friendly fixture that will see each side bat for three of the available six sessions.

Head coach David Ripley has stated his intention to move towards what will be his starting XI over the course of seven days of cricket that sees this week’s outing followed by two days against Leicestershire and a three-day game with Yorkshire.

He said: “We’ll just be sharing it around this week and then narrow it down when we face Leicetershire.

“When it comes to the Yorkshire game you will probably see what will be close to the XI that will play against Durham in our first competitive game.”

The XI on duty tomorrow is: Peters (capt), Keogh, Sales, Coetzer, Newton, Hall, Kettleborough, Murphy, White, Stone, Azharullah.
