Northamptonshire’s Ben Duckett led the way as England edged past India and into the semi-finals of the Under-19 World Cup.
Chasing 222 for victory, England slipped to 41-3 in reply and looked in trouble.
However, Duckett played a match-winning knock as he steadied the ship and got his country back on course.
He eventually went for 61 with work still needed.
But 42 from Joe Clarke kept the chase going before Rob Jones (28no) and Peterborough Town’s Joe Sayer (10no) got England over the line with five balls and three wickets in hand as the game reached a tense conclusion.
Sayer had earlier taken 1-27 - while Duckett claimed three catches - as India posted 221-8 in their 50 overs.
