The heavy rain of last week may have decimated the bulk of the football and rugby programme in the county, but it didn’t stop the cross-country runners who fought their way through the mud.

Spurred on after missing out on both gongs in 2013, the club scored seven team victories on top of five individual winning performances to cement their place at the top of the county cross country table.
