House removals company Shift has created a list of the most valuable children’s books currently in circulation, which people could potentially have at home.
A £75,000 privately printed, first edition copy of The Tale of Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter topped the list, followed by a first edition 1866 print of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, valued at £57,500, with a 1937 first edition copy of The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien, taking the third spot with a value of around £50,000.
