However, instead of following the traditional format of performing alone, the acts will perform together to impress the audience. Bosses at ITV are hopeful they will be able to have an in-studio audience to vote for their favourite acts.
Diversity top of the wish list
According to The Sun, a source has revealed that Diversity was top of ITV’s list for acts the channel wants to feature. Also mentioned were Susan Boyle and Marc Spelmann.

Hide AdDiversity recently performed on the Britain’s Got Talent Semi-Final. The group’s Black Lives Matter inspired performance drew in 21,000 Ofcom complaints, making it the second most complained about TV moment in 10 years.
The routine saw a white police officer kneel on the chest of Ashley Banjo, echoing the killing of George Floyd in the US. The dance group then took a knee against racism and police brutality.
Ashley Banjo hit back at the complaints in a statement and said, “It's been a lot, everything from racial abuse to threats, to just some really nasty stuff. I'm not going to give light to it, I'm not going to give it any more time than it deserves.

ITV defended the performance with a spokesperson saying, “Britain's Got Talent has always been an inclusive show, which showcases diversity and supports strong storytelling in all forms and ITV stands behind the decision to broadcast Diversity's performance on BGT.
"Ashley and the group are a great example of the talent, creativity and diversity of modern Britain and their performance was an authentic, heartfelt response to many of the issues and events which have affected society in 2020."
