Time2talk in Daventry has received three grants that will enable them to continue their vital services.

The charity offers a free information, counselling and preventative intervention service for young people aged 1 to 25 in Daventry and throughout South Northants and is based in the Abbey building in the town centre.

They have now acquired a new computer and IT updates thanks to a £981.30 grant from Daventry District Council.

Their old PC will be donated to the Phoenix youth centre for use in one of their projects.

The charity also successfully obtained a grant of £500 from South Northants Homes which will help to maintain the Monday drop-in service at the Chantry House.

Daventry District Cllr Alan Hills gave£500 from his empowerment fund which will be used towards maintaining the counselling service this year.

Centre manager, Andy Nixon, said: “Thank you to all those that support us in maintaining our services and if you want to support a local good cause with a financial contribution, please do think local if you can.

“If you would like to help Time2Talk do get in touch with us on 01327-706706.”
