Yet more homes for burgeoning district

On a good day to bury bad news, June 19 2014, Gladman Developments announces a plan to build more than a hundred houses in Byfield. Some would be built on the death trap of Dolls Hill.

I am beyond hope that the District Council can do anything. The towns and villages targeted by the Cheshire -based speculators grows longer. They use the “under capacity” of new homes as their get-in clause and little can be done.

The Conservatives and the Liberal Democrats are jointly responsible for the destruction.

Why should we , as Oscar Hammerstein 2nd writes in “If I Loved You”, “specks of nothing” ever trust faceless dictators? I despair.
