I have recently established a clothing business in the village of Long Buckby.
We were based in Market Harborough for three years previously but needed to relocate to bigger premises. Because we are an online clothing business advertising nationally, we didn’t need to be in a prominent High Street position so we decided to relocate to Long Buckby because of its close links to the M1 and surrounding areas.
We’ve had an excellent start and are confident we have chosen well in our new location.
We have recently been exploring the area around Daventry and are in the process of purchasing a property close to the village of Welton. Our searches have just been returned and we are delighted to note that a canal basin is one of the intended projects for the area.
Market Harborough has a canal basin and it’s brought a new diversity and dimension to the prestige of the town.
We owned a narrowboat, which was moored at Crick Marina, and we feel a canal basin will be a hugely successful advantage to the district of Daventry.
We also went exploring Daventry Country Park, a first for us.
I am from the Lake District, my husband is from New Zealand, so we both appreciate the outdoors and rural back yard. We were again delighted to experience first hand the on-the-doorstep access to such open countryside and well maintained parkland.
All credit is due and Daventry should view itself as being extremely fortunate to have these assets in their own backyard.
I am seeing Daventry in a new light with it’s plans for expansion with projects that are clearly going to bring in new wealth and opportunity for the town.
I am glad I decided to base my business locally to the area.
