Windfarm for Watford turned down

Plans for a windfarm near to Watford Gap have been turned down by Daventry Distrit Council.

The planning committe, which met yesterday (Wednesday) overturned the views expressed by the council’s planning experts who recommended the plans by energy firm Gamesa be approved.

If given planning permission, there would have been five 126.5 metre turbines built.
