Weedon Bec students help less-fortunate people

Kind-hearted children from Weedon Bec have been helping less-fortunate people in the community.

Students at Weedon Bec Primary School collected items for hampers and hand-delivered them.

Staff at the school said the children gained a lot from the experience, which took place just before Christmas.

The school’s headteacher, Antony Witheyman, said: “It is so important at this time of year that we take time out to help those who are alone, ill or vulnerable.

“Our Year 6 children loved being Christmas elves packing and delivering the parcels, so everyone wins with this brilliant initiative.”
