We want to see your stories and pictures

And we know you really enjoy seeing pictures of your own events in the newspaper, whether you are taking part in a special challenge or you or your club is raising funds for charity.

During the course of the year, we publish pictures of a wide variety of events, from children dressed up for World Book Day, to Scouts and Guides receiving awards, and to clubs and individuals who have achieved something special.

We hear about those readers who are bold enough to take part in sponsored skydives or impressive feats of endurance, usually in aid of a range of charities.

And this is not to mention those of you who bake cakes, run stalls or volunteer, all for good causes.

We also like to see pictures of the charities, groups and clubs as they gratefully
receive cash as a result of your sterling efforts.

In fact, there is so much good work going on out there in the community, it can often be a struggle for our hard-working news team to find space for all your stories.

But don’t let that stop you!
