A character from the popular Disney film Frozen attended a fundraising morning for a children’s group.

Elsa, a character from the 2013 film Frozen, attended the event organised by the Weedon Bec Little Ducklings – a self funding group run by local mum Blaine Taylor.

The event was held at the village hall and will help the children at the group.

Blaine said: “We get no funding to help buy equipment so the group held a fundraising morning in the hope of raising enough money to buy a sensory tent for the babies. We had a special visitor come along from the popular frozen film, which the children loved!

“Thank you to all the mums at Little Ducklings – without their help on Saturday running the event it wouldn’t have been possible.

“I would also like to thank everyone who came and supported the event.

“We raised a fabulous £401.87, which is just amazing for such a small village group!

“On top of that Tesco Express in Weedon has been fundraising over the past few weeks for us and raised a further £232.45. We also had an £80 donation from Whilton Locks Flooring, giving us a grand total of £714.27. I am just so touched that we have had all this help from the local community. It has been amazing and I can’t wait to now buy the sensory tent for the babies.”
