The latest in a series of vintage sewing workshops will be coming to a shop in Sheaf Street later this month.
The Naughty Knickers workshop will be held at the Second of May at Serendipity in the town centre on Saturday, July 26.
The workshop is aimed at the intermediate sewer and people can get their hand on some knicker elastic and produce a pair of drawers to take away with them.
It will be just one of many workshops held at the store with owner Jenni Patching teaming up with Jo Cowley to launch them.
Jenni said: “The workshops are an opportunity to learn various techniques using vintage and retro fabrics and haberdashery.
“This can be all washed down with a cup of tea and a slice of cake!
“The workshops are held nestled amongst the beams in our pop-up sewing attic upstairs in Second of May at Serendipity’s shop.
“We offer tuition for various levels of sewer, there will be a workshop to suit all ...even if you have never touched a sewing machine before.
“The aim is to unwind, laugh, chat, learn and enjoy the splendid world of fabrics and haberdashery while having a jolly good time.”
All of the materials and equipment are provided and the workshop costs £30. It runs from 10.30am to 2.30pm.
For those looking for something a little less risque, there is a cute cushion workshop coming to the store on Saturday, August 2.
It will be a chance for people to introduce a decorative finish with an envelope to the finished cushions complete with cute ties. The workshop is aimed at beginners as well as more experienced sewers.
It runs from 10.30am-2.30pm.
