VIDEO: Waterfall created by floods at Blisworth tunnel in Northamptonshire
A footpath over a canal bridge in Northamptonshire was completely washed away yesterday following hours of heavy rain.
Alan Andrews captured the footage at the north portal of Blisworth tunnel on Wednesday morning where a waterfall was created as a result of the flooding in the area.
The fast running water completely washed away the footpath over the top of the bridge as it cascaded down into the canal below.
A severe weather warning was put in place across Northamptonshire yesterday as heavy rain fell overnight and throughout the day.
