VIDEO: 170 pupils at Northamptonshire primary school take on Ice Bucket Challenge

Excited youngsters at Weedon Bec Primary School tipped ice cold buckets of water over their heads this morning to raise money for charity.

Around 170 pupils and staff at the West Street school took part in the charity challenge in the playground this morning (Monday).

Headteacher Antony Witheryman began by tipping a bucket of water over his head before all the pupils did a Mexican wave of buckets.

The school nominated Mr Wills at Woodford Halse Primary School, Badby Primary School and Kilsby Primary School.

Weedon school is planning on donating funds to Macmillan Cancer Support and Motor Neurone Disease Association based in Northampton.
