UPDATE: Missing Northamptonshire man, 86, found safe and well

A pensioner who went missing from his home in Northampton today has been found safe and well.

Thomas Bennett, 86, was last seen at around midday at his home in Tiverton Avenue, Kingsthorpe.

Concerned for his welfare, police began searching for Mr Bennett, who left his walking stick at home.

Just after 8.30pm Northamptonshire Police said: “Missing man Thomas Bennett has been found safe in Northampton this evening. Thank you for your help with the search.”
