A farm walk and a guided bird walk take place in the coming weeks.
Both events are being organised by the Friends of Daventry Country Park.
On Saturday November 21 the farm walk will be led by Friends member Barry Lewis around his farm near Whilton Locks.
Barry is a member of the Rare Breed Survival Trust and the shepherd of sheep in the country park.
Participants are meeting at 10am on November 21. Parking is available on the lane opposite Lodge Cottage, Whilton Locks (on the Daventry side of the railway bridge) NN11 2NH (OS SP616644).
Then on Saturday, November 28 there will be a guided bird walk around the country park, where walkers can discover more about the feathered creatures living in and visiting the park at this time of year.
Meet at 10am at the park’s visitor centre.
