The Daventry development is at the Prologis Apex Park. The company is starting onsite with two distribution centres of 215,000 sqft and 85,000 sqft, which will be completed in April 2016.

The new units will be built on the northern edge of the town, close to the A45.

Each distribution centre will include a rooftop solar installation that will generate 10 per cent of the building’s regulated energy.

Andrew Griffiths, managing director of Prologis UK said: “This new phase of speculative development builds on the success of the 1.5 million square foot programme we began in a measured way at the end of 2013.

“Our customers trust us to deliver the buildings they need to run their operations as efficiently as possible.”
