One lane closed after smash on M1 southbound in Northamptonshire

One lane is closed on the M1 southbound in Northamptonshire folowing a Wednesday lunchtime collision in torrential rain.

Highways England and Northamptonshire Police are clearing up after the smash between Junction 17 and Junction 16 but hope to have all lanes back open by 2.30pm.

The agency is advising drivers of 15 minute delays heading south towards Northampton.
