A MAN has died after an accident involving three lorries on the A5 this morning.
Officers were called to the crash which happened at around 1.40am between Kilsby and the Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal (DIRFT).
A white HGV travelling south on the A5 towards DIRFT collided with stationary HGVs in a layby.
The driver, a 47-year-old man from Ammanford in Wales, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Agencies have been working overnight to clear a diesel spillage at the scene. It is expected that the road will re-open shortly.
