STAFF, families and friends from two local firms joined to celebrate 10 years of working together with a fun day.
DHL Supply Chain and Tesco held their joint charity event and raised £5,100 for the Alzheimer’s Society.
It was opened by Daventry MP Chris Heaton-Harris and included fairground rides, a Zumba dance demonstration, fundraising stalls and a charity auction.
John Boulter, managing director non-food retail at DHL Supply Chain, said: “I’m proud that our colleagues, their families and friends have raised £5,100 for such a worthwhile cause – well done to all.
“The fantastic amount of money raised mirrors the hard work put in by everyone to support our customers.”
The DHL site in Crick provides warehouse and transportation services to Tesco, distributing 65 per cent of its frozen goods to 700 UK stores.
The warehouse also has around 500 people working on site.
