Engineering work means no trains at Northampton and Long Buckby this Sunday

Essential travellers are being warned to check their journeys as engineering works affect trains to and from Northampton and Long Buckby on Sunday (June 21).

Buses will connect Castle station with West Coast Mainline services at Milton Keynes Central and Rugby all day, adding extra time to journeys.

London Northwestern Railway will run to a revised timetable between London Euston and Birmingham, not calling at Northampton, Long Buckby or Wolverton.

The train operator is currently advising passengers to only use its services as a last resort as social distancing requirements on board reduces the number of seats available on trains which are also running less frequently.
