A GARDEN party in Flore helped raise funds for a town charity.
Johnny Amos hosted the event at his garden at the Old Bakery.
It was arranged to raise funds for Time2Talk, a charity which offers counselling for people aged 13 to 25.
The charity tackles issues such as bullying, contraception, eating disorders and depression.
Time2Talk manager Andy Nixon said: “The day went ever so well. People were a bit slow to come forward initially because of the weather but when it brightened up we had a bit of a surge.
“We raised £199 in total so it was definitely worth doing.
“It was an opportunity for people to come in and have a look at Johnny’s garden and learn about what we do as a charity.
“We had notice boards up and things like that and it helps raise awareness for us. Around 32 people came along in total.”
