The Daventry and South Northants Community safety Partnership and Women’s Aid marked the International Women’s Day by putting on a series of drop-in advice sessions across the area.

On Thursday and Friday they were in Daventry, setting up shop at the district council offices, in New Street, and at the Phoenix Centre off Ashby Road.

Police and staff were on hand to give out information and advice on personal safety, crime prevention, cyber crime, child safety, and domestic abuse to women or their family and friends.
