Suspected illegal immigrant tracked with police dog from Watford Gap

Five suspected illegal immigrants, believed to have jumped out of a lorry, were arrested at Watford Gap services.

On Thursday, September 12, at about 2pm, police detained the men, believed to be foreign nationals, on suspicion of immigration offences.

Four of the men were arrested at Watford Gap. A fifth man was tracked by police dog Max along a canal tow path and located on the A5.

The people will now be dealt with by UK Border Agency.
