THE lifesaving charity Warwickshire and Northampton Air Ambulance (WNAA) was presented with a cheque for £1,000 following a charity ball.
Tracey Humphries, of Crystal Beauty, presented the cheque to the charity on Saturday following the ball held at Olde Coach House in Ashby St Ledgers on July 21.
She said: “I chose the WNAA because my father died in an aeroplane crash in France. The French air ambulance service arrived very quickly on the scene so I felt it was something close to me and I wanted to donate as a kind of remembrance.
“I also wanted to thank everyone for attending and all the people who helped me along the way, the florists for example.”
A total of 83 people attended to support the WNAA. The charity does not receive any Government or National Lottery funding and relies entirely on donations and the support of volunteers.
