A BROTHER and sister made a good team when they took part in a charity triathlon.
Evan, nine, and Niamh Chippington, 11, both pupils at Welton Primary School, raised £415 on Sunday at the event in Windsor, smashing their target of £200.
Niamh completed a 5km bike ride, a 2km run and a 200-metre swim while her younger brother did a 3km bike ride, a 1km run and a 100-metre swim.
It was a desire to raise money for Save the Children that saw them take part in the event.
Niamh said: “We raise money for charity at school and I wanted to raise extra for Save the Children because it is a really good charity. I know they help them in both the UK and all over the world.”
Evan said: “I have never done anything like this before. I thought it was going to be hard work but it was all fun.”
