PEOPLE with hidden talents are urged to come forward and show off their skills.
Daventry Business Partnership (DBP) is organising Daventry’s Got Talent to find people or animals that can wow the crowds on a big stage. Among the show’s judges will be Daventry Express leisure correspondent Steve Mills and former Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist Dean Metcalf.
It is part of Daventry Arts Festival with the final being staged on Saturday, July 23.
DBP manager, Sally Halson said: “The competition will provide the finalists with a fantastic platform to perform in front of a local audience, while at the same time having some fun. One way or another it promises to be a night to remember.”
All competitors will be narrowed down to a shortlist of 16 who will perform behind closed doors in a semi-final. Six acts will then be chosen for a place in the final.
To take part, fill out the application form (on page 2) and include either a DVD or photograph showing off your particular talent.
For more information or an application form, call DBP on 01327 828 391 or email email@example.com. All applicants must be over the age of 10 and get their entries in before Thursday, June 30.
