More than 100 Scouts from all over Daventry and district took part in the annual Brass Monkey camp at the Horley campsite near Banbury over the weekend.

Based on a theme of the Highland Games in a celebration of Burn’s Night, Scouts took part in a number of events including tossing the caber, curling (pictured) and haggis throwing.

The weather failed to dampen their spirits as the Scouts came to the rescue of a tent blown away in the wind.
