Safari park's baby-boomers are on show for visitors from Northamptonshire

Woburn Safari Park's lockdown babies will be on show for the first time when the attraction reopens on Monday (June 15).

The Park — which is just off junction 13 on the M1 and hugely popular with visitors from Northamptonshire — has put a raft of safety measures in place after getting the Government's green light to unlock its gates.

Visitors will only be allowed entry in cars with an online booking system making sure numbers are strictly controlled.

But the trip should be well worth it with two two adorable bear cubs and and a young alpaca likely to be the star attractions following a lockdown baby-boom.

The two North American black bear cubs are the first to be born at the Park since the last surprise

trio arrived in 2016.

The new babies have comfortably settled into a ground-level den, in an enclosed half-acre pen spending quiet bonding time with mum Phoenix and away from other bears.

Woburn is reopening the Road Safari drive-through only but staff hope to announce the Foot Safari can be restored soon.

Toilets will be open and cleaned regularly!

The first tickets go on sale at 9am TOMORROW (Saturday June 13) with prices reduced as only the Road Safari is available, although visitors can go round as many times as they like to see some of the most beautiful and endangered animals on the planet including elephants, lions, tigers, rhinos, bears, giraffes, monkeys up close.
