This Saturday, June 20, over 200 runners will take part in the Summer Mud Sweat and Beer (MSB), set in the beautiful countryside of Shuckburgh near Daventry, it promises to be the best course to date.

MSB was launched in Spring 2014 by “Those two lads” Nigel Wheatley and local Catesby resident, Ali Haigh.

Their main goal is to provide a fun and challenging obstacle course which includes; super slide, fireman poles, rope ladders, electric avenue and straw heights as well as many man made obstacles and ponds and at the same time raise vital funds for charities in the Northamptonshire area with their charity partners being WNAA Warwickshire and Northants Air Ambulance, to date over £5000 has been raised for these charities as well as Great Ormond Street and Maggies Cancer Charities.

The course is aimed at all ages from six years onwards (under 10’s must have an adult run with them) there is the option for 5k or 10k, those participating will receive a fabulous MSB Medal, free beer or soft/hot drink option, free event video link and photos, computer timed results and memories that will last a lifetime.

The pair recently hosted “Pretty Tough” at Ali’s Arena, Catesby, a 7k race for women to raise funds for cancer charities, the event was enjoyed by so many that bookings are being taken for next year.
