A PUBLIC meeting has been suggested to hear residents’ feelings about the firm responsible for emptying Daventry district’s bins.

Cllr Wendy Randall is leading a scrutiny review of the contract between Daventry District Council and Enterprise.

The firm was given the contract for environmental services – bin and recycling collections, grass cutting and open space maintenance – in April last year.

She has suggested the idea of a public meeting and the scrutiny committee will decide whether to hold one or not at its next meeting on Tuesday.
