A public meeting will be held on Wednesday to discuss the closure of the cardiac rehab unit at Danetre Hospital.

Viv Crouch, the nurse who helped set up the service, will lead the meeting at the Holiday Inn at Flore from 6.30pm.

The cardiac rehab service at Danetre closed last year, meaning those recovering from heart attacks and other cardiac problems, face a journey to Kettering to get the services they used to be able to get in Daventry.

This includes support and advice on changing their lifestyles and reducing the risk of future problems.
