Police and helicopter search Daventry after alleged assault
Two teenagers have been arrested after a search that crossed Daventry this afternoon.
Northamptonshire Police said they were initially called out shortly after 1pm to reports of an alleged assault in Tennyson Road, on the Headlands.
A search was launched with the police helicopter being spotted over the Southbrook, and police vehicles seen at multiple locations around the north-eastern parts of the town.
A police spokeswoman said: "Following a search of the surrounding area, two teenage boys were arrested and are currently being questioned."
