Around 25,000 visitors attended the Northampton Balloon Festival at the weekend.
Visitors attending the event which was held at Billing Aquadrome for the seventh year, enjoyed sunny weather conditions which were also ideal for the balloon flights themselves.
Balloons were able to take to the skies on Saturday and Sunday both morning and evening and they also put on an on-the-ground show with the evening balloon glow.
Events manager at the venue Claire Fleming said: “It was a fantastic weekend and the sun was shining. The weather was really on our side this year.
The balloon glow was a great sight and seeing people sitting around and enjoying themselves and having picnics was great. We were really pleased with attendance.”
Other attractions at the event were an American car show with 1,000 vehicles on display, a fun fair, circus acts and entertainment from the Starlight Theatre School.
