PICTURE GALLERY: Minions and Yoda among the attractions at Harpole Scarecrow Festival
The event, which is in its 18th year, involved villagers making and decorating a scarecrow in their front garden and the spectacle attracted crowds of visitors on both Saturday and Sunday.
This year there was also a scarecrow trail competition, open top bus rides, entertainment, stalls and a photographic competition.

Hide AdThe event raises money for a number of local causes and over the years it has helped fund a kitchen refurbishment at the Old School Hall, an outdoor performing arts stage at Harpole School, a renovation of the Church Yard Memorial
and the Bowls Club extension project.
A spokeswoman for the organiser said: “This is a fantastic village event which caters for all ages with plenty going on, attracting people from outside the county as well as locals who visit each year.”
