Uri Geller believes the Northampton magician who amazed the country with his time-travelling card trick on Britain Got Talent is better than him.

Sean Heydon sailed into the next round of ITV's hit talent show with his mind-bending audition which aired on Britain's Got Talent: Unseen last month.

Ever since the magician, who grew up in Naseby, has been making national headlines and praise, including from the spoon-bending master himself.

In a video, Geller said: "Although I originated spoon-bending and moving the hands of a watch, you do it better than me.

"I don't know how you do it, I'm mystified, you're amazing, and I send you good, positive energy to be very successful, not only in England, but worldwide. You're amazing."

Sean tweeted the video saying he was delighted when he received the message from one of his heroes and inspirations behind his audition.

His trick involved the presenters, Ant and Dec, all four judges and the audience, who were all amazed to see their phone clocks had gone back by nine minutes.

Sean also picked out the card thought of by Simon Cowell, which seemed almost elementary as everyone was still trying to understand how they had gone back in time.
