But you'll need to be quick to catch a glimpse of world famous display team at 645mph

The world famous Red Arrows will fly over Northamptonshire on Thursday afternoon (September 10).

But you had better be quick to catch a glimpse and don't expect any red, white and blue smoke or fancy loop-the-loops and fly-pasts.

Pilots from the RAF display team are heading home to Lincolnshire after today's Guernsey Air Show and will take about FOUR MINUTES to cover 30-odd miles across the county.

The 11 Arrows' BAE Hawk aircraft are powered by a single Rolls-Royce Turbomeca Adour Mk 861 turbofan engine producing 5,700lb of thrust and giving them a top speed of 645mph.

Handy when you want your late for dinner and there's no speed cameras to worry about.

The Arrows will leave Exeter Airport at 4pm and expected be over Northamptonshire at around 4.20, passing over the A43 between Silverstone and Brackley heading towards Farthingstone before turning north-west over Weedon Bec, East Haddon, Guilsborough, Haselbech and Great Oxendon.
