17. Daniel Walter Rossiter
Dealer Rossiter was jailed after bungling a bid to throw drugs away as he fled after police spotted a suspected drug deal in Wellingborough on January 28, 2024. According to Northamptonshire Police, the 47-year-old threw a clingfilmed object – only for it to land at his feet. The bundle contained individual wraps of class A drugs.Rossiter was also found to have two kitchen knives in his waistband.He pleaded guilty to four charges and was jailed for a total of 31 months. 18. Mohammed Ullah
Ullah, 42, was sentenced to 18 months after admitting coercive control and assault of his partner in Earls Barton. According to Northamptonshire Police, the 42-year-old was arrested following a 999 call from the victim after he had become violent during an argument on September 25, 2023. Ullah had grabbed her by the arms and then by the throat – and had threatened to kill himself if she ended the relationship.His ex-partner told police she had suffered a year of abuse from Ullah, including him attacking her if she refused him sex, calling her derogatory names, threatening to crash his car with them both in it, and beating his dog. The 26-year-old from Kettering was sentenced to two years, six months after he pleaded guilty to dealing crack cocaine and heroin drugs in the town. 20. Joseph Refeea
Rafeea confessed to 17 sexual offences after police acted over reports he had met an under-aged girl via Snapchat. The 27-year-old, of Scarletwell Street, Northampton, admitted charges including meeting a child following sexual grooming, taking and possessing indecent images of a child and several counts of sexual activity with a child, according to Northamptonshire Police. He was sentenced to five years, 10 months and put on the sex offenders’ register for life.
