Parent fears for child's welfare after classmate took knife into Northamptonshire primary school
The man, who doesn't wish to be named, said Pattishall church of England primary school near Towcester told parents about the incident a week after it happened.
The incident involved a year 3 student and happened last Thursday (March 16), before the school day started.

Hide AdHe said: "Parents have been furious with how it's been dealt with. It's too serious to sweep under the carpet with recent events in Northampton. I'm concerned we only found out a week later."
Lee Woods, headteacher at Pattishall CE Primary School said: "I can confirm that there was an incident before the school day started last Thursday.
"Staff took immediate action and dealt with this incident in line with our behaviour policy.
"Parents and other parties involved have been kept up to date. Pattishall CE Primary School is committed to the safety of all of our pupils."
Northamptonshire Police have been approached for further comment.
