Northamptonshire people queue at Althorp to have items valued in front of BBC cameras

The show is now on its fifteenth series and regularly achieves sees audience figures of over two million viewers in its weekday afternoon slot.

On Friday’s valuation day, presenter Paul Martin was joined by experts Charles Hanson, Christina Trevanion and Will Axon.

Members of the public were invited to bring along up to three antiques or collectables they might be interested in selling.

Items chosen by the experts on the day will go forward to a sale a few weeks later.

Everyone who came along to Earl Spencer’s home received a free valuation – even if their antiques are not chosen to go forward for auction.

The items selected at the valuation day will go under the hammer at Gildings Auctioneers in Market Harborough on Tuesday, March 1.

The BBC plans to screen the four editions of Flog It featuring Althorp House within a year.
