Having dealt with enquiries from more than 2,000 businesses looking for growth support since its inception, the Northamptonshire Growth Hub is about to celebrate its second anniversary.

The result of a partnership between NEP, the University of Northampton and the county council, the Growth Hub has this year recruited its first dedicated manager, Janette Pallas, who will be leading the celebrations, which will take place on December 2 between 4pm and 6pm at the University of Northampton Innovation Centre in Green Street, Northampton.

At the event, attendees will hear from a panel of Northamponshire-based businesses about their first-hand experiences of planning for growth or starting up a new business.

There will also be a chance to put questions direct to Janette and her team of business support advisers.

Janette said: “The Growth Hub has grown by reputation for being the first point of call for business support. This has provided me with a strong platform on which to take the operation to the next level and address specific gaps in local business support provision.

“One of our main priorities is to engage with and support growing Northamptonshire companies as effectively as possible. For example, in response to feedback from clients, we’re now providing remote business support to those who prefer this to enable them to develop a business growth strategy.”
